This fox, photographed on the newly laid turf at The Millennium Stadium, obviously liked the feel of Lincolnshire grass between his toes.
Lincolnshire-based County Turf had just supplied a new pitch for the stadium and as the last work was completed on the installation, its Production Manager, Chris Medley, snapped the discerning fox as he was testing the turf ahead of Wales’ clash with The Pumas.
Chris said: “I had a shock when I noticed the fox but I was more surprised at how close I was able to get with my camera phone to take a picture of the Millennium Stadium’s newest fan.”
Staff at the stadium are hoping that the sighting of the nimble fox is a good omen for the Welsh team before Saturday’s game against Argentina’s mighty Pumas.
