County Turf adds washed option to its turf range
December 2009
Washed turf for specialist golf situations is now available from premium grower, County Turf.
The use of washed turf eliminates the problem of incompatibility of the rootzone the turf’s grown on in relation to the site where it’s laid.
Based in north Lincolnshire where the natural, free-draining, sandy soils are close to USGA specification, County Turf supplies golf courses across the UK with premium quality turf for tees, greens and bunker repairs.
David Norton at Forest Pines Golf & Spa Hotel has been a customer for 10 years, using several turf grades on his 27-hole Championship course. “The turf I buy from them is of consistently good quality and there’s always good year-round supply”, he commented. “They understand our requirements and we’re able to adapt the mixes and ratios to suit our course. All this is backed up by first class customer service.”
